A national treasure since 1954, Paul Taylor Dance Company helps White Bird celebrate its 20th anniversary with a program showcasing the company's masterful blending of lyricism and athletic physicality. Dubbed the "naughty boy" of dance by Martha Graham, Taylor is not only one of the greatest choreographers of the 20th century, he also remains (at age 86) one of the 21st century's most daring innovators. The Paul Taylor Dance Company embodies his continuing genius as well as nurtures new talent -- Tony winners Twyla Tharp and David Parsons are among its many distinguished alumni.
